and, if you want to be the one that is wanting me
please tell me 'bout it
tell me all about it
and, we know there is something we ought to do
but we just fight about it
always fight about it
and if you think there is something we could be
you've got to tell me bout
tell me all about it
because I've been dying to find the thing I need
so come tell me bout it
tell me all about it
me and you at the drive in baby, yeah
kissy kissy kissy
but, we're scared because love ends so easily
won’t you hold me closer
won't you hold me closer
and I slave away trying to be free
so, hide me under cover
hide me under cover
because I don't know who I can belive
so make me over
be my life's composer
and if you want to be the one who is wanting me
come tell me bout it
come twist and shout it
me and you at the drive in baby, yeah
kissy kissy kissy
I want to be your
Disaster movie, yeah

When You Speak
when you speak,
we never say a word
when you speak,
you argue with yourself
when you speak,
you have all the answers
when you speak,
we're checking our e-mail
when you speak,
it's done so eloquently
when you speak,
you steal all the words
when you speak
there's nothing left to say
when you speak
there is no other way
when you speak,
do you love how it sounds
when you speak,
thoughts pile all around
when you speak,
we kiss the soil beneath your feet
when you speak,
we agonize in defeat
it's not tongue in cheek
every time you repeat
how special you are
how special you are
there's no doubt to speak
every time we see
how special you are
how special you are
we never say a word
when you speak,
you argue with yourself
when you speak,
you have all the answers
when you speak,
we're checking our e-mail
when you speak,

Wrapped Around Me
I'm no good at parties
I'm nice to you because I need you
I'm nice because life can be so mean
I'm not good with money
I treat you right because I want you
I treat you well because I'm so keen
and I want your legs wrapped around
holding on so very tightly
breathing delicately
and I'll use this night
because my day's are so lonely
I'm no good at talking
I speak so you'll think you know me
I speak so that we can kiss
I'm not good at assuring
but I'll try to make you see
I'll try this time not to miss
and I want your arms wrapped around me
tied up so tightly
whispering silently
that you're not leaving
because my day's are so lonely
I'm nice to you because I need you
I'm nice because life can be so mean
I'm not good with money
I treat you right because I want you
I treat you well because I'm so keen
and I want your legs wrapped around

Slamming My Head Against The Wall
when I put on a mask
you wanted to point out
that my behavior calls into question
my desire for attention
and I've done so much worse
so it's hard to put into perspective
your narrow minded directive
so without hope and unrehearsed
I'll slam my head against the wall, again
again, again, again
and you think that you're witty
so isn't it a pitty
that you ly like a python
till you scream like an infant
about how you're so much better
but we all know the secret
and your little weakness
of how you lack uniqueness
so without hope and unrehearsed
I'll slam my head against the wall, again
again, again, again
so maybe I'm the sucker
but I thought you were grown up
you parade like a tyrant
but you fear like a peasant
you think you're entitled
but why don't you prove it
so without hope and unrehearsed
I'll slam my head against the wall, again
again, again, again
you wanted to point out
that my behavior calls into question
my desire for attention
and I've done so much worse
so it's hard to put into perspective
your narrow minded directive
so without hope and unrehearsed

LA Rejects
everybody says nice things about a place, wrapped up in sin
everybody loves it so much more, but I just can't fit in
they've got
blue teeth in their ears
toasting with expensive beers
to how unimportant they've become
and I rot
in this bitter dessert sun
and they seem to be having so much fun
talking all about where they're from
everybody loves the sunset, and the dusty desert sky
everybody is happy with all this mediocrity, but I just don't know why
everybody loves it so much more, but I just can't fit in
they've got
blue teeth in their ears
toasting with expensive beers
to how unimportant they've become
and I rot
in this bitter dessert sun

Digital Friends
digital hugs, and digital kisses
a digital drug, with digital wishes
digital hearts, so easily broken
digital friends, kept like a token
and digital whispers seep like the plague
because everything digital is so very vague
but I don't believe in
No I don't need them
I don't believe in digital friends
digital wink, and digital smiles
your digital kink, full of digital wiles
digital lives, anchored in sand
digital love, always on demand
while digital masses may huddle in groups
their digital voices rarely speak truth
but I don't believe in
No I don't need them
I don't believe in digital friends
and this may be ruffled and cold heartedly said
but a purely digital connection is already dead
a digital drug, with digital wishes
digital hearts, so easily broken
digital friends, kept like a token
and digital whispers seep like the plague
because everything digital is so very vague
but I don't believe in
No I don't need them
I don't believe in digital friends

Norepinephrine
I pray that Karma comes
breaks your crown
shakes you down
I want you planted in the ground
just look around
at what you’ve found
what has happened to me
is laced in the bite of fury
I see fire outside my grasp
but I can only gasp
I see there's nothing good
from your path
from your wrath
and I want to be set free
from bitter chains
and burning pains
what has happen to me
is laced in the bite of fury
I see fire outside my grasp
but I can only gasp
and this isn't primal
there is only reason
you say it's tribal
but I only see the treason
breaks your crown
shakes you down
I want you planted in the ground
just look around
at what you’ve found
what has happened to me
is laced in the bite of fury
I see fire outside my grasp
but I can only gasp
I see there's nothing good
from your path
from your wrath
and I want to be set free
from bitter chains
and burning pains
what has happen to me

Angelica
you left me ever so sweetly
feeling appreciated but unwanted
carefully you sent me freely
into a world kind but haunted
I complained the whole time
I gave every sign, I wanted to be let go
Angelica, you cut me with candy canes
and you shushed me through window panes
you brushed me off like sand
so sweet for the weekend
but weekdays are for a firmer land
an answer you tried to pretend
I complained the whole time
I thought I was so much better than this
Angelica, you cut me with candy canes
and you shushed me through window panes
Angelica, you bruised me with vitamins
as you knocked me down to my shins
feeling appreciated but unwanted
carefully you sent me freely
into a world kind but haunted
I complained the whole time
I gave every sign, I wanted to be let go
Angelica, you cut me with candy canes
and you shushed me through window panes
you brushed me off like sand

Trapped In Fear
Shelter from hostility
Afraid of inadequacy
Marred by mediocrity
All but my potential will disappear
Cause you like me
But you don't want me
And I need you
But I can't have you
That’s not enough to stay
We can't finish what we didn't start
We can't because we don't have the heart
Cause you like me
But you don't want me
And I need you
But I can't have you
That’s not enough to stay
We can't finish what we didn't start
We can't because we don't have the heart
We pretend there’s passion in our cries
But there’s only venom in our eyes
Was it ever real
We could taste it
But we could never feel?
Byte your tongue and have a fit
Wrap it up in cellophane
It keeps the rot away
We can't finish what we didn't start
We can't because we don't have the heart
We pretend there’s passion in our cries
But there’s only venom in our eyes
Shelter from hostility
Afraid of inadequacy
Marred by mediocrity
All but my potential will disappear

Rebeca
I've been trying to find your face
in the leaves of the trees and foot prints in the mud
There is a sea of faces all around
but there is only one smile in whom I find grace
and it's you, but you're not here
Rebeca I can't wait for you
I'm sure you live in a million voices
in the sopranos of sweet siren call's and magnum opi
With nothing but beauty before me
you'd think I would be content in my place
but I'm not, because you're not here
Rebeca I can't wait for you
I'll set my feet in motion
to find a place and a face
where my weary soul can rest
in the leaves of the trees and foot prints in the mud
There is a sea of faces all around
but there is only one smile in whom I find grace
and it's you, but you're not here
Rebeca I can't wait for you
I'm sure you live in a million voices
in the sopranos of sweet siren call's and magnum opi
With nothing but beauty before me

but I'm not, because you're not here

Sarah
I wanted, to end it all
but then you found me
I was feeling so very small
but your words lift me sweetly
I'm coffee, bitter and strong
you are my cream, sing along
I need you more than you need me
I belived, in a phoenix's dream
squandared on the rocks
loosing my voice with each scream
but your presence turns my clocks
I'm tinder, brittle and dry
you're my match, here is the cry
I need you more than you need me
but then you found me
I was feeling so very small
but your words lift me sweetly
I'm coffee, bitter and strong
you are my cream, sing along
I need you more than you need me
I belived, in a phoenix's dream
squandared on the rocks
loosing my voice with each scream
but your presence turns my clocks
I'm tinder, brittle and dry
you're my match, here is the cry
I need you more than you need me
