Slamming My Head Against The Wall

when I put on a mask
you wanted to point out
that my behavior calls into question
my desire for attention
and I've done so much worse
so it's hard to put into perspective
your narrow minded directive

so without hope and unrehearsed
I'll slam my head against the wall, again
again, again, again

and you think that you're witty
so isn't it a pitty
that you ly like a python
till you scream like an infant
about how you're so much better
but we all know the secret
and your little weakness
of how you lack uniqueness

so without hope and unrehearsed
I'll slam my head against the wall, again
again, again, again

so maybe I'm the sucker
but I thought you were grown up
you parade like a tyrant
but you fear like a peasant
you think you're entitled
but why don't you prove it

so without hope and unrehearsed
I'll slam my head against the wall, again
again, again, again

LA Rejects

everybody says nice things about a place, wrapped up in sin
everybody loves it so much more, but I just can't fit in

they've got
blue teeth in their ears
toasting with expensive beers
to how unimportant they've become

and I rot
in this bitter dessert sun
and they seem to be having so much fun
talking all about where they're from

everybody loves the sunset, and the dusty desert sky
everybody is happy with all this mediocrity, but I just don't know why
